Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 03:31PM Given the great response to our "Hillbilly Highway" t-shirts that we've seen around town, we've decided to expand our 'market.' That's right, the t-shirts are now available for sale on the web. As always 100% of the proceeds go to help Royalton resident affected by Tropical Storm Irene. Click here to get yours today!
And remember, there are still Royalton residents who have a long road to full recovery. Thankfully there are people all across this country (and beyond) who have a special place in their hearts for Royalton. Wouldn't it be great if people from coast to coast helped out, stood with Royalton and wore their shirts with Royal pride! Be sure to spread the word far and wide.

In case you aren't familiar with the story:
In the chaotic days following Irene, many Royalton residents were stranded by washed out roads and bridges. Some of our most resourceful townspeople grabbed a little heavy machinery, headed up through the woods and cleared a new interstate on-ramp between existing exits 2 and 3. The New York Times called it "The Hillbilly Highway." We call it Vermont ingenuity at it's finest.
The shirts are on sale for $20 and 100% of the proceeds go to help Royalton residents most affected by the storm.
Look for the shirts to soon be on sale at more location around town. And, who knows, if they become popuar enough we might start selling them online.
